Ángel Rodés is a research scientist at the Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre (SUERC). Ángel introduced the cosmogenic radionuclide dating technique in Spain by setting up the first cosmogenic sample preparation laboratory in the country and producing the first publications of glacial and neotectonic chronologies based in 10Be dating in Iberia. He is now one of the scientists working for the NERC – National Environmental Isotope Facility (NEIF-Cosmo), feeding 10Be, 26Al and 36Cl data and data analysis on radioactive and stable cosmonuclides to UK scientists and international collaborators, as well as promoting international commercial contracts on cosmogenic dating at SUERC.
